Upliftment

All of our tours employ local accredited site guides, thus uplifting the communities directly and also encouraging the guides to work freelance for more tour operators. By only employing the guides freelance, we do not hinder their ability to grow and advance by employing them as permanent Cybele Eco Tours employees. This has been a very successful concept and has succeeded at several local community projects that we support. We also support local projects and these may be included in any tour. The focus of these visits is to create an awareness, whilst still respecting dignity.

Your guide

As an interest rates banker with 30 years’ experience globally, Trevor decided in 2014 to leave the first world and to awaken his soul and travel from London to Cape Town solo, without maps. Ebola and terrorism became daily factors, yet this became a trip of a lifetime and encouraged him to take the leap of faith and create a truly niche product for discerning and adventurous clients. Passionate about nature , Trevor would like to share with you his vision and experiences in this amazing continent.

British born, but choosing to live in Africa, Trevor has amassed a vast understanding of different cultures, after having lived in Zimbabwe, Japan, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Switzerland, South Africa and England.
